Thanks so much for purchasing a Digital Download. I hope you enjoy your new art or photos!

All printers are different, but here are a few general tips for paper and settings to help you print the best photos at home.

  • I use Red River Paper* for all my photo and art printing. I’m a matte fan, but sometimes I enjoy a minimal glossy look that comes from a satin finish. I typically print calendars in matte and prints or digital art in satin. These are my two favorites:

    • Polar Matte

    • UltraPro Satin

  • Choose the paper size that fits the print you purchased.

  • I often choose borderless in my printer settings if it’s an option. You may want to print with and without a border to see what you like best and to learn how your printer interprets those settings. My calendars and digital art typically have a border in the design. My photo prints don’t. Sometimes I add a border when printing photo prints, especially if I plan to use them as greeting cards.

  • Choose best quality and color in your printer settings.

If you want someone else to do the printing, any of my digital downloads can be printed using a general photo department at local stores. For more professional prints, though, I use Printique. You can choose from a variety of papers and finishes to match what you like best. My digital downloads come at 300dpi in the sRGB color space that Printique requires.

*Because I love Red River Paper so much and use it myself, I am an affiliate. This means if you make a paper purchase through a link on my website, I will receive a small commission from Red River Paper.
